Unity through sports was the key message from the Member of Parliament for East Are’are Andrew Manepora’a to successfully end the East Are’are sports tournament in Maroys.
Sports bring unity, friendship and change of character in all levels of life.

“He thanked them for being part of the team and participating in the event. He assured the players of both games – netball and soccer – to play with a good spirit of sportsmanship so that they can enjoy the event and be satisfied. He said sports can bring unity, friendship and change of character to us humans to become good citizens.
Meanwhile, Muki Football club was crowned Champion of the East Are’are tournament and Hunanaua netball team claimed the netball title this year.
