In sports, the recent 2016 Solomon Games has been dubbed one of the best ever.
This was according to Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs George Palua in an interview with SIBC News.
“This 2016 Solomon Games was one of the best so far and is very free for everyone. It’s been over 10 years since we’ve held the Games in Honiara so everybody was able to see a lot more action and improvement in participation, improvement of officers so overall the Ministry and the Government are really happy with what has taken place here during the Solomon Games.”
