International arrivals into the country has reached 14,648 in total for 2018 second quarter making an upturn of 26.4 per cent growth says the National Statistics Office.
Government Statistician, Douglas Kimi, while releasing the figures for the second quarter of this year said the increase of 26.4 percent compared to the 1st quarter of 2018, and the same quarter a year ago marks a 13.2 percent increase.
Mr. Kimi stated that returning residents made up 51 per cent of arrivals for second quarter of 2018 followed by visitors with 48 per cent of arrivals and the remaining 1 per cent were intending residents.
