All tropical disturbance watch advice issued for Solomon Islands have now been cancelled by the Solomon Islands Meteorological Service.
A statement from the MET Office today says all tropical disturbance watch advice have been cancelled as at 7am this morning.
It says at 11pm last night, the tropical depression was relocated approximately 280 nautical miles Southwest of Rennell Island.
The MET Office says the system is moving away from the country.
But it says winds of 15 to 25 knots with moderate to rough seas and moderate swells are still expected over the Rennell and Bellona waters, Southern waters of Western, Russell, Guadalcanal and Makira Provinces.
Meanwhile, the MET Office says winds of 10 to 20 knots with slight to moderate seas and low to moderate swells are expected over the remain islands.
It says shower areas and isolated thunderstorms are also expected.
The MET Office says this will be the final tropical disturbance watch advice for the system unless any part of the country is under threat again.
