Minister Manele acknowledged the Government of Indonesia for building the country’s first futsal stadium, a gift he described as the best in region and capable of hosting other sports such as indoor volleyball and basketball.
The Minister then announced that the Solomon Islands Government has completed the internal requirement for the visa waiver arrangement for Diplomatic and Service passport holder for Indonesia.
He said the Agreement on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic and service passports has been activated and their delegation is the first to enjoy the visa waiver arrangement.
He thanked the Indonesian Government for completing the internal requirements for the visa waiver on Diplomatic and official passport holder for Solomon Islands, and hopes the Visa Agreement is activated from their side and that there will be no issues when Solomon Islands Government officials travel to Indonesia.
Minister Manele stressed Solomon Islands appreciation for all the support and assistance from Indonesia in our ongoing cooperation and engagement.
“Solomon Islands sincerely thank the Ambassador for his visit to Solomon Island and his contribution to the development of Solomon Islands,” he remarked.
