The ANZAC day, the service of remembrance since 1916 for all the fallen soldiers who fought for their countries during the WW1 and WW2 was held at the central police station Cenotaph early this morning.
The ANZAC Day has been one of the most important dates for both Australian and New Zealand’s to gave their people a chance to honor the original ANZACS-the Australians and New Zealanders who fought so bravely at Gallipoli, then it became a day for all those who had served in WW1.
Speaking during the ceremony, the Australian High Commissioner to the Solomon Islands, His Excellency Rod Hilton says, ANZAC day has become an occasion for them to honor all who have worn, and still wear, their countries uniform in service.
