Police in Auki Malaita province will receive a new vessel.
Police Commissioner Frank Prendergast recently announced the vessel is expected to arrive in Auki this month.
Auki Police has also received two vehicles as a gift from RAMSI – Participating Police Force officers who withdrew last week.
Commissioner Prendergast says these new resources will enormously improve the ability of Auki Police to respond to incidents.
