Australia has pledged over 330-thousand dollars to support Solomon Islands in initial response efforts to flooding in Honiara and Guadalcanal.
In a media statement today, Australian High Commissioner Andrew Byrne said Australia is ready to assist Solomon Islands at this difficult time.
He says the Australian Government is providing more than 330-thousand dollars in emergency humanitarian assistance to support the Solomon Islands Government and local NGO’s with logistics and emergency relief supplies to assist in response to this disaster.
