The Ministry of Home Affairs is looking at securing coaches from Cuba to train the country’s local boxers for the 2023 Pacific Games. The Minister of Home Affairs Manasseh Maelanga says this is one of the benefits Solomon Islands will derive from its bilateral relation with Cuba.

A second lot of students doing medical studies in Cuba will be graduating after completing their six years study program on the 24th of this month. Among local students who will graduate will be five girls and 17 boys.
