Govt to save $6M from political appointee cuts

When Prime Minister Rick Houenipwela took over the Government last year, there were 51 political appointees whose annual salaries and benefits totaled more than $19 million. By cutting the number of political appointees to 36, the Government will save more than $6 million this year.
