The Under Secretary Health Improvement department within the Ministry of Health and Medical Services Dr. Chris Becha has urge all citizens of Solomon Islands to work together to end TB.
Under Secretary Becha made a strong appeal in his keynote address at the ceremony to commemorate World TB Day today.
He reflects on this year’s TB Day theme ‘Unite to end TB’ as a message or opportunity to encourage people to end TB here.
Mr. Becha regards the commemoration ceremony as an opportunity to identify the right channel to deliver the services people needs.
“This is an opportunity to join hands in this fight. Our focus is to make TB prevention and care accessible to all people of this beautiful country. People need to access right information and must be supported to access services that are needed.”
The theme for today’s celebration is ‘Unite to End TB.’
