Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare says the country needs a long-term multi-decade development plan jointly designed and developed and owned by all stakeholders in Solomon Islands.
Speaking to participants of a Budget Reporting workshop in Honiara this morning, Mr Sogavare says having a long term development strategy will address the fundamental question of “what to do” and “who to do what”.
He says the short to medium term program of action of ruling government only address the question of how to do it, adding having a long term development plan is essential for the country.
