The Court of Appeal has began its sitting for 2015 at the High Court in Honiara today.
Five criminal and eight civil cases are listed for the sitting throughout the week.
A direction hearing for Sumitomo’s appeal against Axiom KB is also included in the sitting.
Sumitomo is appealing the High Court’s decision last year which rejected its claims to nickel prospecting rights in Isabel Province.
Axiom KB was instead recognised as having the valid prospecting licence.
The hearing is listed for Friday.
