Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare says the Democratic Coalition for Change (DCC) Government wants to make a difference in Malaita Province.
The Prime Minister made the statement today at the official launch of Malaita’s new Policy Strategy Document in Auki.
Prime Minister Sogavare also said the road ahead is challenging but assured the Malaita Premier that the DCC Government is now focusing on Malaita province.
“We would like to make a difference together with you. The road ahead is not easy and my government is not naive to believe that we must accept business as usual or allow ourselves to be complacent Mr Premier. One thing that I would like to assure you Mr Premier, executive members, members of the Malaita provincial assembly. Leaders of all works of life, communities and all good people of Malaita province, however, is that my government is now focusing on Malaita province.”
SIBC News understands the Prime Minister and his delegation will return to Honiara from Auki tomorrow.
