D.C.C GOVERNMENT WELCOMED FSII’s TOP 10 PRIORITY POINTS

Mr Sore said his team welcomed the initiative by FSII to convey their most important priority points to the government.

He said the government would ensure that their concerns will be incorporated into its policy actions when the policy document is put to action.

Meanwhile, the statement said the FSII document outlined the most pressing priority areas as Public Sector Reform, Strategic Economic Development and Infrastructure.

While Education, Health, Job Creation, Employment Conditions and Investment Attraction are significant challenges facing the country, FSII members have identified the need for a restructure and refocus of government activities.

Receiving the document, Mr. Sore encouraged FSII members to continue promoting proactive national advocacy towards change and good leadership.

He said the government policy formulation team welcomed FSII’s initiative to directly convey their member’s concerns to the government.

Mr. Sore assured FSII members that the ruling Coalition is ready to assist them in their vision and will continue to engage with them to ensure the voice of its citizens are translated into policy actions.
