Forum Solomon Islands International (FSII) has called on the DCC Government to immediately investigate the current Solomon Airlines issue.
The call follows the recent esoteric contract terminations of Chief Pilot Captain Gibson Galo, one of the country’s top pilots and Airline’s Chief Engineer (Domestic) Trevor Palmer.
FSII says its recommendation is for SIG to investigate Solomon Airlines and expatriate salaries and benefits.
This is crucial and should be made accordingly to a ratio of revenue which demands valid explanations from Solomon Airline Board of Directors including many other doubtful issues.
SIBC News understands, FSII and its members expect to discuss ways as its contribution to solving the current airline issue during its meeting at 5 pm this evening in Honiara.
