The Democratic Coalition for Change (DCC) Government through the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs will soon formalise the establishment of an Alternative Disputes Resolution (ADR) steering committee.
A government statement said the committee will be responsible for the formulation of legal and administrative frameworks for the introduction of an Alternative Dispute Resolution as a formal dispute resolution methodology.
Meanwhile, National Consultant for Law and Justice in the Prime Minister’s Office, Chris Waiwori said the DCC Government introduces the ADR initiative and other mediation and arbitration processes to relief the formal court system of its ‘pressing’ workload.
