Choiseul Provincial Government says the Taro Hospital’s request for a medical doctor is critical.
Taro Hospital has been without a medical doctor for two years.
SIBC’s Leni Dalavera, reporting from Choiseul, says – the Choiseul’s Provincial Secretary John Tabepuda said a medical doctor should be immediately sent to look after the Taro hospital.
“The Choiseul Provincial Government Secretary Mr John Tabepuda says the Ministry of Health and Medical Services must no longer make excuses and quickly send a medical doctor to look after the Taro hospital immediately. Mr Tabepuda says frequent patient referrals out of Taro has doubled the risk of losing lives just because a person cannot be treated here in Taro.”
Dalavera also reports, the Choiseul Provincial Government want to remind the Ministry of Health to deploy a medical doctor to their Hospital.
