Deputy Prime Minister Honourable Fredrick Kologeto, MP, today joined the people of Malaita Province in Honiara to commemorate the 42nd anniversary of its Second Appointed Day, celebrated under the theme “Guided by Faith, Rooted in Culture, United for Change.”
In his keynote address, DPM Kologeto praised Malaita’s significant contributions to the nation’s social, cultural, and economic development over the past four decades. He emphasised the relevance of the celebration theme, calling it a timely reminder to remain grounded in faith, honour cultural heritage, and work together for positive change.
“I assure you that the Government for National Unity and Transformation remains steadfast in its mission to unify our nation and deliver meaningful development,” he said.
