An educational awareness program has successfully concluded in Fo’ondo North Malaita yesterday.
The program is an initiative between the Goroka University of Papua New Guinea and Basi Institute of Learning in Malaita province.
It aims to open up opportunities for students who wish to do further studies at the University of Papua New Guinea’s Honiara open campus.

“According to reports received this morning from My Steward Tatalu from the Basi Institute of Learning, who is also the man behind this initiative, said it’s a huge opportunity for forms three, five, six and seven leavers who would wish to further their education in terms of diploma and degree programmes for their interest.”
