The Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, Disaster Management and Meteorology through the Environment and Conservation Division, ECD, is taking the lead role in implementing the Mataniko River Clean up.
A statement from the Ministry says, key partners to the National rehabilitation program will work along the Ministry in the clean up effort.
It says, a launch of the program is planned for coming Wednesday, May 21st.
