Forum Solomon Islands International (FSII) applauds Solomon Water for its recent achievements.
In an FSII statement, yesterday Chief Executive Officer Benjamin Afuga said Solomon Water and Japanese International Cooperation Agency JICA must be congratulated for this life-saving project which greatly alleviated water problems in Honiara and Auki.
Mr Afuga says FSII is pleased to learn of Solomon Water’s financial position, which he describes as stable and delicate.
Meanwhile, Solomon Water General Manager Mr. Richard Austin during the handing ceremony last year says the Grant Aid project is to improve water supply system in Honiara and Auki Township.
Mr Austin says this is the result of many years of hard work involving JICA, Solomon Water and other parties.
Mr Austin adds the improved water should create an excellent foundation for our water source, water transmission and storage which Solomon Water should further improve in its future developments.
