Henderson Police Officers and members of the public at Lungga area, Honiara City’s eastern periphery are searching for a missing Asian male who went missing around the Lungga River area since Sunday evening.
Superintendent Nixon Manetoga, Provincial Police Commander, Guadalcanal Province said the alleged unfortunate incident happened between 6pm and 7pm while the Filipino and two of his colleagues were out fishing at the river mouth.
PPC Manetoga said the missing man is believed to be an employee of the Winlex International Solomon Islands Company Ltd.
