A group of individuals has entered and robbed the Gold Ridge Mining office at Bubulake, over the weekend.
SIBC’s North Guadalcanal stringer Dudley Gani said the robbers looted the company’s properties at its Bubulake office.
He says some of the looters have also used vehicles to remove the properties on several occasions.
“The looters entered the Gold Ridge Mining Company’s office and the compound at Bubulake over the weekend and took off with everything removable. Eyewitnesses said some of them are using vehicles, making several loads of what they have looted.”
The Police Media Unit says it is yet to receive any formal reports of the incident when contacted by SIBC News today.
