The Government says it is optimistic about passing the Political Parties Integrity Bill to finally becoming law.
Pacific Islands News Association reports, the Prime minister’s director of governance Calvin Ziru said the primary objective of the bill is to improve political stability in the country.
Mr Ziru says Prime Minister Lilo is right on introducing the bill, which focuses mainly on strengthening the political party integrity and political parties governance rather than on anti-defection piece of legislation.
