The Solomon Islands National Teachers Association (SINTA) has asked the Democratic Coalition for Change Government to turn a positive approach towards teachers who are the foundation pillars of development in Solomon Islands.
The statement was made during the 30th annual general meeting today by the Association’s General Secretary, Samson Faisi.
Mr Faisi assures teachers, SINTA will fight for the good of the nation- its children and teachers.
“DCC will be a fool if it continues to play the same game, the same format used by the past successive government because SINTA will stand up and fight with more aggressiveness that you have not seen before, for the good of this nation, the children and teachers nationwide.”
Meanwhile, the election of a new SINTA National Executive is among other agenda in today’s meeting.
This includes the election of a new President, two Vice Presidents, an Assistant General Secretary, Treasurer and a Chairperson for the Women’s Wing.
