The National Government is hosting a two-day national land reform summit in Honiara this week with the theme: ‘Building Successful Pathways for Land Reform in Solomon Island’.
A government statement today says the summit is the first of a number of land reform workshops and conferences to be initiated by the Democratic Coalition for Change (DCC) Government in pursuing its land reform policies.
The high-level summit is part of the Government’s intention to drive land reform and development in Solomon Islands so that ordinary landowners can better utilize their land economically.
