Honiara City Council (HCC) has shifted its new three years Waste Management Program backwards.
Honiara City Council clerk Charles Kelly confirms this to SIBC News yesterday.
Mr Kelly says while he is optimistic about the successful implementation of the new waste management program next year, the reason for the delay is political.
“But first of all we must meet as I’ve raised earlier on that we have to make a strong commitment both from the political level then to the management level, so the first meeting I called for will be in January, because now we are facing the elections
