Health authorities are warning Honiara men not to be lured by certain individuals who go around the city giving injections to men to enlarge their private part.
The National Referral Hospital is gravely concerned since receiving several cases of the complications of the procedure at its Out-patient department.
It adds, the number of victims has increased since last year.
The Hospital authority says the risks associated with this unprofessional procedure include ulcer around the Penile body and HIV/AIDs since one needle is shared among an unknown number of males.
It adds, the Technique itself is not sterile nor the person who does the injection a professional doctor.
