A hearing was conducted today to strike out the sworn statement of a practicing solicitor in the election petition case against the MP for Temotu Vatud, Hon. Freda Comua.
In the hearing today, Mrs. Comua’s lawyer, Makario Tagini applied to the Court to strike out the sworn statement on the ground that it was ‘scandalous.’
Mr. Tagini initially submitted to strike out four sworn statements, but will proceed only with one.
