The Ministry of Home Affairs is committed to developing sports within State Owned Enterprises SOEs.
Permanent Secretary for Home Affairs George Palua made the statement to officially launched the 2015 SOEs Sporting Challenge in Honiara yesterday.
Mr Palua said his ministry will do its best to promote sports in our community.
He elaborates, SOE’s are not forgotten as they contribute to the economy and development of the country.
“SOEs I think it is fair to say is a sometimes forgotten group and you have shown yourself this time around that you are also here. You are contributing to the economy and the development of this country and now you are coming into sports.”
The 2015 SOEs Sporting Challenge begins 8th of this month.
