HUNDRED CONVENED AT AFUFU FOR HOLY TRINITY SUNDAY

Hundreds of people gathered to celebrate the Holy Trinity Sunday at the Afufu Anglican Church in North Malaita over the weekend.

Holy Trinity Sunday celebrates the Christian doctrine of the 3-person God – the Father,Son, and the Holy Spirit – in the Christian liturgical calendar.

SIBC’s Stringer in North Malaita , John Kiri reports, Christians around the Bishop Paterson Parish attended the mass.

“Last Sunday approximately 3-400 plus Aglicans in the Bishop Parteson parish, stating from Gwaikirio to Afufu convened together to celebrate the day.”

The SIBC Stringer also reported the celebration ended successfully with feasting and cultural entertainment from parish youths.
