The paramount chief of Isabel province, the Right Reverend Bishop James Mason has called on educators of Isabel province to include the island’s culture and tradition into their extracurricular activities.
Chief Mason used the Kodili Trade and Cultural Festival in Buala to emphasize that Isabel people are unique due to their culture and tradition.
SIBC’s Charlie Salini reported Bishop Mason as saying Isabel’s culture and tradition are their identity.
“He told his people that it is their culture and tradition that identifies them as the people of Isabel. He adds it is their culture and tradition that makes them different from other people.”
Meanwhile, Mr. Salini reports the paramount chief asked Isabel educators to insert the Isabel culture and tradition into their extracurricular activities.
“Paramount Chief Bishop Mason asked Isabel educators to teach the children about the culture and tradition whether through the formal or informal education. He asked the educators to insert the Isabel culture and tradition as an extra curriculum for Isabel children. Meanwhile, the Paramount Chief, Bishop Mason thanked the forefathers of Isabel province for laying the foundation of the culture and tradition of Isabel.”
