JAPANESES EMBASSY HANDS OVER TICKETS TO SOLO DUO

“The Tourism and International Relations will be very important after you are coming back to Solomon Islands to contribute to the development of the tourism in this country, which is a quite important sector for the economy. Also, the Environmental Management System for Acid Mine Drainage in the Mining sector is also a very important matter for this country to develop, especially Japanese companies who are very much interested in nickel mining in this country and that will have a great potential for economic development of Solomon Islands.”

Edward Danitofea in response, thanked the government of Japan for the opportunity and assures- both scholars will perform to their level best to complete given programs under the scholarship.

“Under this scholarship I know I’ll try to do my best, fully do my best in whatever program that I will undertake, like for the Acid Mine Drainage as stated, it is a very important program for this country.”

The students will leave the country on April 2 for a two years scholarship in Japan.
