Children from schools around Honiara will take over key roles in the SIBC studio to voice their support for thousands of their peers who are unschooled, unprotected and uprooted.
UNICEF and SIBC are partnering to celebrate Universal Children’s Day with six children hosting and co-hosting radio programmes on SIBC all day tomorrow.
The broadcast takeover is meant to give children the opportunity to raise their voices on issues affecting them and gain appreciation as a group that has the potential to contribute to the development of the country.
