The litigation surrounding logging matters in the country has stretched the High Court’s resources and judges to the limit.
High Court Registrar Myonnie Samani made this statement responding to an article criticising the delays in the High Court in relation to logging matters costing the Government millions of dollars.
Ms. Samani says in the last few years, the number of cases involving persons arguing over timber rights has grown beyond reason causing an unfortunate backlog with the commensurate effect on the delivery of judgments.
