The Ministry of Infrastructure Development, MID, will start repairing some unsealed roads in West Honiara tomorrow.
Confirming this to SIBC News today MID Chief Civil Engineer Harry Rini says the program is part of the ministry’s Central Project Implementation Unit, CPIU for this year.
Mr. Rini adds a Social Safeguarding Team from the ministry, the Traffic Division of the Ministry of Police & Justice and Honiara City Council will also organise awareness talks with communities staying along the road to ensure their safety is maintained during the construction period.
