The Malaita Ma’asina Forum (MMF), has commended the Democratic Coalition for Change (DCC) Government on its policy statement in recognising development for Malaita Province.
MMF President Charles Dausabea told local reporters today Malaita has been striving for change for the past years, adding people are now expecting changes from the government.
He says MMF is happy and proud that the DCC Government will develop projects on Malaita under its policy statement.
“We are very happy and proud that the DCC Government has made that very clear in its statement of policy that they will develop Malaita. I do not like to say that all projects on Malaita will be developed, No! at least you start with one.”
Mr. Dausabea encouraged all Members of Parliament for Malaita Province to support the government in bringing change to the province.
