Director of Marine Export Company Robert Satu hits back on private consultant Robert Mani to request the Ministry of Finance to provide tax returns and receipt to justify more than eight million deducted as tax charges.
Director Satu hits back after Mr Mani through a local Newspaper requested tax returns and receipt to justify the eight million dollars deducted as tax charges from the Ministry of Finance.
Mr Satu says, Mr Mani has not been authorized to make such comments through the media.
“I am unhappy about the kind of set up that Robert Mani or whoever lawyer that he acts on behalf of him. He never took orders from me to do such outright comments in the Solomon Star and I as the Company Director wouldn’t want to see such personal grudges in the paper. Already I have green light from the government agreeing that we will do the settlement.”
Mr Satu adds, the settlement of tax returns and receipts will be settled between the government and the company according to the court order not from outside influences.
