People of Bita’ama in North Malaita are facing local food scarcity.
Chief Stanley Rofsini told SIBC News yesterday, the current food shortage issue is worrying.
“What happened at the Maru’u market was that after the heavy rains we are now having problems with local food shortages, especially from our suppliers who are living inland and this morning we found no potatoes or taro.”
