The Ministry of Culture and Tourism is hosting a National Tourism Forum today.
The one-day event will bring together key players and partners including Government and private sector operators.
Director of Culture and Tourism Barney Sivoro says they will discuss how to address issues that are holding back the industry.
Mr Sivoro says there is still a lot of opportunities that are not being utilised.
“We try to expose these kinds of opportunities so a lot of the speakers will be talking on some of these areas to highlight and expose some of these opportunities that we currently regard as not part of tourism.”
The Forum’s theme is “Managing change and creating Eminent Opportunities.”
