The Prime Minister emphasized that bringing together development partners will enhance stronger partnerships and that assistances we are receiving will be more streamlined and effective in meeting our strategic goals.
In further highlighting the importance of the Roundtable Event, PM Manele stated that “this roundtable will facilitate open dialogue, enhance mutual understanding, and solidify our collaborative efforts, ensuring that our developmental objectives are met with comprehensive and coordinated support”.
The Roundtable Event will be organized by responsible government ministries with coordination from the Office of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (OPMC).
Also in the pipeline is the Energy Summit where the ministry of Mines, Energy and Rural Electrification will take the lead on.
Worth noting, the Government for National Unity and Transformation (GNUT) comes into power only two and half months ago. It’s aggressiveness in implementing its 100 days programs is a telling sign of a government that is genuine and committed to move the country forward.
At the top of the government policy priorities is the ambition to maximise the productive sector, realizing the full potential of the sector with the support from the resources sector. The intended outcome is for the productive sector to reach the stage where it can adequately meet the demands of the social sector.
