Prime Minister Hon. Manasseh Sogavare, MP has welcomed the new British High Commissioner to the Solomon Islands, His Excellency Dr. Brian James Jones to the country.
This was when His Excellency Dr. Jones paid a courtesy call to Prime Minister Sogavare last week and to present a copy of his Letter of Introduction from the Prime Minister of Great Britain, Rt. Hon. Boris Johnson.
Prime Minister Sogavare acknowledged the longstanding diplomatic relationship between the Solomon Islands and Great Britain.
