Women of ward 15 in Munda Western Province have officially opened their new market facility building at the Helena Goldie Hospital on Friday.
Officiating the handing over, Western’s Provincial Minister of State Jane Tozaka said the project is a fine example of service to the people within the vicinity of the hospital.
Mrs Tozaka adds the building will help women to sell their products and have a clean and safe place to do business.
She said the Western Province Government will continue to support such programs under it’s recently launched document for 2014-2018.
Meanwhile, a 3 ton truck was handed over to the women of ward 15 in Munda while a 10KV generator was delivered to the United church Tabaka rural training centre.
The donation came from the West New Georgia Constituency MP, Silas Vagara Tausinga.
