Constituents of North Malaita eagerly await the historic launch of their new boat this Thursday.
The new ship will be operated by the North Malaita Shipping Limited.
Hon. member for North Malaita Constituency and Minister for Infrastructure Development Hon Jimmy Lusibaea facilitated the purchase.

“Preparations are well underway as for the first time on Thursday 29th September 2016 there will be the blessing ceremony of the MV Baelaea Chief boat which will be run and operated by the North Malaita Shipping Limited. It’s only a day away from the ceremony and the atmosphere here is filled with excitement that even the small kids are eager to go to Maluú to be part of this program.”
