A new trial date will be set at the Magistrates Court for the Permanent Secretary of Rural Development Selina Boso.
Ms Boso’s trial was fixed for Monday this week, but Chief Magistrate Emmanuel Kouhota was not available to preside over it.
Principal Magistrate Ricky Iomea adjourned the matter to Tuesday next week for a mention.
Ms Boso is facing a charge of wilfully failing to furnish information and produce documents under the Ombudsman further provision Act.
She allegedly failed to furnish information on rural constituency development funds as lawfully requested by the Ombudsman and members of his staff.
