North Malaita constituents have successfully celebrated the historical launch of their ship last week at Malu’u station.
The new MV Baelae will operate fuel services for the constituency.

“For the first time ever our new vessel, the MV Baelae has entered and berthed in the Maluú harbour and was welcomed by thousands of North Malaita constituents. It was an exciting occasion indeed.”
Member of Parliament for North Malaita Constituency and Minister for Infrastructure Development Hon. Jimmy Lusibaea facilitated the fuel tanker purchase.
