Business mentors from New Zealand will return to Honiara next week for another training and mentoring session for Solomon Islands businesses that are clients.
A statement from the Solomon Islands Chamber of Commerce and Industries says, the mentors return for another week-long session to old and new client businesses.
Funded by the New Zealand Aid Programme, the Pacific Business Mentoring Programme began working in Honiara three years ago and to date, supports 78 local businesses.
The Pacific Business Mentoring Programme aims to up-skill business owners and managers by analysing processes and procedures and then providing suggestions for improvements or efficiencies.
Mentors also work with business owners to develop an action plan for improvement.
The Chamber says mentors will spend the week giving advice and agreeing on action plans with enrolled business owners and managers.
