The Parliamentary Opposition today calls for investigation, arrest and deportation of Skyline Investment Group Director Mr Jason Liu Tao if he is found guilty.
This follows a recent media report that Mr Tao has owed Heritage Park Hotel more than $87,000 hotel bills with one of his associates.
A statement from the Opposition Group said Mr Bing has already left the country with more than $10,000 unpaid postpaid bill with Our Telekom as well.
It adds, the recent confirmation from Heritage Park Hotel regarding the Asian investor’s outstanding hotel bills speaks a lot of the kind of character of a non-genuine investor.
The statement said Mr Tao and his associates’ actions do not reflect well of a genuine investor that promises a lot for this country.
It adds, these people must be investigated, arrested and deported if found guilty.
Meanwhile the Opposition Group is said to have highly suspicious of the response by the Office of the Prime Minister & Cabinet (OPMC) last week that the Government would standby the Skyline despite the scam claims.
The Parliamentary Opposition also accused the Office of the Prime Minister & Cabinet for not doing their job in undertaking
comprehensive research and background information on Skyline Investment to verify the credibility of the investor.
The statement said the political appointees that have not been doing their job and are directly involved in this sector must also be
terminated.
The Government is yet to make an official response on the opposition’s allegation.
