More than $20,000.00 have been stolen at the Yandina Russell Islands Our Telekom company sales office last Friday.
SIBC’s stringer for Yandina Tome Kiki reports the robbery happened on Friday night after a power outage which failed to light up the office.
He says more than $20,000 cash including mobile handsets have been stolen during the robbery incident.
“Things gone missing during the incidents as discovered by the officer in charge were an amount of $24,000 hard cash, six mobile handsets worth more than $1,000 plus 24 other mobile phones, totalling up to 30 mobile phones.”
Mr. Tome adds the matter has been reported to the police and investigation is yet to be done.
